Spring Is In The Air!

 One of my favorite times of year is when Young Living unveils their annual Holiday Catalog. It is full of fun gift ideas, and specials that you can only get this one particular time of year. This year they have introduced a beautiful Spring Catalog too. I haven't had a chance to get my hands on one just yet, but I have had a peek at the digital version. You can check it out here . Not only is the catalog itself gorgeous, there are so many great gift ideas for Mother's Day, Father's Day, or just any day! I love when they take the guess work out of sharing oils with those who are the most important to us.

Here are a few of my favorite items featured:

The Vitality Oils Collection:

This collection comes with 10 (yes, 10!) of our favorite Vitality oils. This is a perfect gift for that foodie in your life or someone who loves added thet extra kick to anything they cook. I can picture it sitting in my spice cabinet or beautifully displayed on my kitchen counter. The oils included are Ginger, Basil, Thyme, Lemon, Peppermint, Rosemary, Black Pepper, Lime, Oregano, and Cinnamon Bark. Young Living's Vitality Essential Oils are all safe for consumption.

Thieves Cleaning Set:

I think this one is my favorite new item! The Thieves Cleaning Set comes with a 14oz bottle of concentrated Thieves Cleaner, a 15ml bottle of Citrus Fresh, a beautiful 16oz amber glass cleaning bottle, and a Thieves cleaning how-to booklet. Who knew spring cleaning could be so fun? Is it weird that I would love this for Mother's Day? Let's be real, I would take any of these items for Mother's Day.

Men's Grooming Kit:

This is technically a "mens" grooming set, but honestly I think anyone who travels often would appreciate a toiletries bag that keeps everything sorted nicely. The bag also comes with the Shutran Shave Cream.

Ningxia Red Ice Pop Set:

The summer can be brutal here in Sacramento, so my kids and I already enjoy making homemade ice pops. I was really excited when YL introduced this fun set which includes a bottle of Ningxia Red and a silicone ice pop mold.

The Highlights

Spring cleaning is the theme of this cool March Promotion and I have to say I am excited to see some of my go to favorites.  I am going to give you three Spring Cleaning recipes for the essential oils listed, a great video on why you need MultiGreens and my own testimony on Thieves Multipurpose cleaner.

Spring Cleaning with Essential Oils

Some of you may have a goal of getting rid of the toxic chemicals in your home...starting with the items we clean with.  I know it is so disappointing to think that what we clean with can actually be harmful...newsflash if it needs to remain in a locked cabinet and poison control called if ingested then it's may not be great spraying all over your house. Have not fear this promotion will equip you with all you need to clean and not miss those other cleaners again. 

Lemony White! 

For cleaning and disinfecting

Makes 1 quart

2 cups hydrogen peroxide (3% solution)

2 tablespoons lemon juice OR 1/2 teaspoon citric acid
2 cups water
10 drops lemon essential oil

Store in dark or covered bottles

Wonderful & Clean Floor Cleaning 

20 Drops of eucalyptus essential oil

½ cup of vinegar

Bucket of hot water

Mix all together and mop away! 

Crystal Clear Window Cleaner 

1 quart spray bottle
1 Part White Vinegar10-15 drops of Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
Fill rest of bottle with water Shake & Use

MultiGreens! 

We all need more greens and this is just the supplement to deliver. I have been impressed with all of the supplements I use from Young Living and being that I am a supplement junkie I look forward to trying these in March!

Thieves Multi Purpose Cleaner

I cannot say enough about how awesome this cleaner it and the best part...it replaces everything else you have been using to clean your house!  I am a recovering bleach addict..I know its crazy if you know me know, but  I loved that I could really get my tile in my very old bathroom clean.  I have tried every single non-toxic or natural product on the market and never felt satisfied with the cleaning power..until Thieves.   I will not stop talking about this amazing product and if you want to try it for your self not only can you get it for free with your order this month but because its so concentrated you wont even need to reorder it for months!

We have decided to start a new monthly post that will highlight our favorite products and why you need to start loving them also!

October Favorites:

1. I am obsessed with Aroma Life, this was a September Promotional Fee oil and it is amazing. The scent is light and heavenly, the blend contains Ylang Ylang, Cypress, Helichrysum, and Marjoram. I apply this behind my ears and neck daily on my drive to work. 
   
2. Thieves Household Cleaner is my best friend and honestly the best non-toxic cleaner I have ever used. I am not just saying this because I love Young Living, I have tried many non-toxic cleaners who did not cut it (the grease that is). The Thieves cleaner does it all and for such a low price per bottle how do you go wrong.  Thank you Thieves household cleaner for making my house presentable despite the twins wiping their hands on everything. 
   
3. AromaGlide Roller Fitments are not only making my life easier (for oil application that is) but they make applying my favorites on the go so easy.  I have two bottle blends that I am using now that I love and need: Lovely Skin (Frank, Geranium, Lavender, Jojoba Jojoba oil) Well Kids (Thieves, Frank, Almond Oil) and I have roller tops on: StressAway, Lady Sclareol, Dragon Time, and En-R-Gee. 
   
4. Renpure Solutions Ren Cleansing Conditioner in Rosemary Mint, I got mine at Target and I love it! It cleans and keeps my naturally dry hair moisturized. This will not break the bank either, at around 7 bucks for 16 oz you can't beat it. 
   
5. Butternut Squash Soup, I love fall soups and this one is easy enough for my to make it. I don't cook so if I can make this delicious soup you can too! Here is the recipe I use from Wellness Mama
